This mandolin was completed in November 2015 for John Hostler in Tennessee. Its a “hybrid” with the neck intersect at the 15th fret and the fingerboard end elevated off of the soundboard. This tends to create a brighter tone than our more traditional oval holes, but is still full bodied with excellent balance up and down. It also features our prized Colorado Englemenn spruce for the top and Vermont Red Maple back and sides with satin nitro-lacquer finish.
