Completed in April of 2026, this F-4 is fully appointed, with Englemenn spruce top and figured maple back, sides and neck.
“Arrived in great shape Don. You’ve really outdone yourself with this one. Looks great as expected but it’s got an astonishingly mature sound. Maybe you noticed this too, but there is none of the muted or brittle character that often is present in brand new instruments. Going to sound better and better of course but I was really struck by that feature. Same terrific workmanship as the mandola but I guess you get more chance to show off with this model!”
