Completed in October 2024, this is a fully loaded A-4. It’s the first mandoln that I’ve had a chance to build as ‘unsold’ but it sold within a couple of weeks.
It features a lightly applied, non-leveled, satin oil varnish finish, giving it a vintage look and an airy sound chamber; imparting that signature Pomeroy sound, unmuted and full. With vigorous, open lows..woody, rich mids and sparkling highs, it is an great example of the tonality I strive for in an oval hole.
