Completed in February 2024, this was a custom F style mandola built in the spirit of Gibson’s classic H5 models but with some liberties taken to create more of a signature Pomeroy look and feel..and tone. It features the following:
- Red maple figured sides and back
- Englemenn spruce top with tone bars
- fully bound in ivoroid
- Rubner tuners
- 1 5/16″ width bone nut
- Shop made ebony adjustable bridge/saddle
- 2-way adj. truss rod and 3 piece laminate neck construction
- custom neck profile, unfinished neck (speed neck)
- James tailpiece in silver
- 12″ Radiused fingerboard with 2mm side markers
- semi-gloss nitro finish
