Completed in April of 2021, this was a custom build for single-cell molecular biologist ( that also plays lots of bluegrass!) It features a few unique characteristics. For one thing, a slightly shorter scale length (13 1/2″) for his very small hands and custom headstock inlay implying an “optical trap”, an image of a critical tool in his research. It also features:

- bound, ebony pickguard
- hand brushed oil varnish finish, rubbed out to a gloss sheen
